An Artist’s Residence

For this artist’s house and workshop in King Mariout, Alexandria, the design centered around creating an open space that merged with the exteriors to provide plenty of daylight and inspiration for the artist. The ground floor houses the living quarters, a separate gym that overlooks the pool, and plenty of outdoor space for the kids. The first floor houses the artist’s workshop and spa to provide some privacy while overlooking the garden. The interior walls worked as a gallery to stage her own and curated artwork collection.
